About our group
Development Center of the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the CAS (DCIOCB) is dedicated to the development of tools, instruments and technologies needed in academic and industrial research laboratories. Development Center was formed with the goal of supporting scientific research in the IOCB Prague, but it was quickly recognized as the source of support for scientists in multiple institutions of the Czech Academy of Sciences. In 2018 the doors of the DCIOCB were opened to the rest of the world and the tools, instruments and technologies originally developed for the internal use are now offered to the worldwide community of researchers.
Engineers in the DCIOCB are also happy to discuss any projects the researchers might have, even those which would require confidentiality for all communication. From the complex projects such as DNA or peptide synthesizers up to 0.7 mm centering inserts for capillaries in mass spectrometers, nothing is too small or too big to consider as an interesting challenge.
